The Body Shop decided to rebrand their makeup offering and introduce new products. They asked me to name them and their corresponding shades to appeal to Gen Z. We landed on a bold and unapologetic mood, with some motivational lines thrown in for good measure.
The naming concept for hero product Pep Talk plays on the power of lipstick, and its ability to make us feel our strongest selves. The shade names not only give a confidence boost, but align with The Body Shop’s activist ethos of standing up, speaking out, and supporting its community and suppliers.
